The Presentation Sisters NEP in partnership with the British and Irish Association for Practical Theology (BIAPT) are delighted to be hosting a one-day conference on ‘Intercultural Living as Christian Mission’ on Thursday 16th May 2019 in the Emmaus Centre, Swords, Co. Dublin.
We are privileged to have as keynote speaker Anthony Gittins, CSSp author of Living Mission Interculturally (Liturgical Press, 2015). Anthony is Emeritus Professor of Theology and Culture at the Catholic Theological Union, Chicago, USA.
God’s mission calls us to respectful and inclusive relationships with all people, beginning with our most immediate communities. This event will offer participants an opportunity to reflect on how living in mission takes flesh in our ways of thinking and acting in our context and time.
This event is of wide relevance to the challenge parish communities and ministries (and to all who are living with diversity) in Ireland now.
Booking is Essential
The cost of day (incl. refreshments at the start and end of the day, and a hot lunch) is €40.00. The closing date for bookings is: Friday 10th May 2019.
