The 2022 Sabbatical Programme

The Sabbatical Programme at Mount St. Anne’s  is a very particular experience, as the very beautiful  and peaceful surroundings form the best backdrop possible to a 4-week programme that aims to provide just the right rhythm and space to reflect, refresh and renew, through a carefully structured programme of daily prayer, liturgy, and ritual  built around formal inputs by the Mount St. Anne’s Team and invited contributors, as well as field trips to local places of significance.

Mount Saint Anne’s  is located in the heart of the Irish midlands. If you need to get away from the strains and stresses of everyday life, this beautiful venue offers a wonderful opportunity. The 2022 Programme

This 4-week sabbatical programme (taking place from the 27th March  to 23rd April 2022) will provide you with an opportunity to reflect on your life journey, to be refreshed and renewed by new experiences, and by the variety of perspectives presented throughout the programme.  The venue (Mount St. Anne’s Retreat and Conference Centre, Killenard, Portarlington, Co. Laois) provides a welcoming and beautiful environment that  helps support personal growth and spiritual renewal.

The format of the programme offers time for orientation, reflection and celebration.  See brochure below.

The fee for the 4-week period is €3,900 (which includes all meals, accommodation, tuition and field trips).

This Programme is for those who are engaged in Christian Ministry as Faith Leaders working in a community context, or in an educational setting, or who are in transition in ministry.

Once you have received confirmation of an available place, an initial holding deposit of €1000 will be required, followed by full payment prior to the 27th March, 2022.
